The Meating Place is a brand new local barbecue restaurant in Pinehurst, Texas. Although the concept is new, the flavor has been perfected over many years. At the Meating Place BBQ & Bakery, we believe barbecue is at its best when all of the powerful flavors combine and harmonize. We match the right cut of meat with the right rub, wood, smoke, and sauce and cook to perfection in our patented 360 Smoker - that we've built ourselves.

BBQ was great the ribs are awesome I will eat there again for sure. Super friendly owners they interacted with all the customers that came in.
I would post a picture of my food but I've usually already eaten it before I remember to put a review up. Friendly environment, staff, and great tasting food. We've had dinner here a few times, even back to back nights (it's just that good!). Prices are fair for the amount of food you receive and I like that there aren't 20 different sauces to cover up the great Smokey flavor. Tonight was my 1st time there. I will say their sliced brisket sandwich was really good, it had a good smoke flavor to it and it wasn't dried out. Didn't even need to use the sauce. The Mac and cheese was good and the pecan pie was amazing minus the crust. I will say the price is on par with everything else around that is worth a damn. I did want to try the sausage but the price on that did seem a little high and I steered clear of it. As far as other comments with being sat and served it's a BBQ place come on. Best BBQ ever. The owner found out we were here from Louisiana helping with hurricane recovery and gave us a delicious pecan pie. We will be back for sure.
These folks...and their food are beyond wonderful! If you have not been by for BarBQ....Ya missin' out!! Just DO IT!!
