The Meating Place is a brand new local barbecue restaurant in Pinehurst, Texas. Although the concept is new, the flavor has been perfected over many years. At the Meating Place BBQ & Bakery, we believe barbecue is at its best when all of the powerful flavors combine and harmonize. We match the right cut of meat with the right rub, wood, smoke, and sauce and cook to perfection in our patented 360 Smoker - that we've built ourselves.

Have heard about this place for a while and have tasted their amazing bakery. Last night we actually stopped at the location for dinner. The food is really good! (ribs were some of the best I’ve ever had). The owner is very engaging! This will be one of our go-to places!
The folks here are awesome people. During hurican Harvey they stayed open and provided BBQ for those who stopped in. This showed their values and the giving hearts. Great BBQ and very reasonable price. I will continue to support their place!
My bestie and I were there last night. It was the first time either of us have tried it. You guys this place is great! My favorite thing by far is a tie between the ribs and thier green beans. Oh my goodness those green beans! And the ribs! So good. I brought my husband a slice beef sandwich which he said that better than the BBQ Hut. I didn't try it so I can't say for sure, but next time I go I will.
I had the Thursday special...3 Meat plate with brisket, regular sausage & jalapeno sausage with potato salad and baked beans. Everything was great. Very good portion size. When I went in I was thinking about what to have for dessert but when I finished eating there was no room for dessert. The owner made rounds several times while we were there and was very friendly and genuinely concerned about my experience there. Which, for me, is just as important as the food itself. I'll definitely be going back.
