Took our child here for about 6 months. Originally out of convenience since it was at the hospital where we had our baby and then stayed because we liked our NP who is no longer there. Other than that practitioner leaving, and a few other things that happened, our main issue is how they handle services and insurance. We had a couple instances where we were suggested to do things or fill out forms that we later found out were not covered by our insurance. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this practice.

Okay, first ped appointment as a postpartum mom is BRUTAL (how do they really expect us to leave home that soon?) but I left Dr. McQuiston’s crying tears of joy. Maybe it’s the postpartum hormones or maybe she is just that good! She was fun and efficient with all the necessary testing on my 3-day-old daughter, but even better she helped me feel like breastfeeding isn’t only something I can do but something that actually does not have to be painful. This place has really gone in the toilet since McCuiston sold out and decided to turn her name into a brand rather than practice as a pediatrician. A proper pediatrician’s office means you should expect to see the same pediatrician throughout your child’s development. That consistency is the critical element of pediatric care. We've taken our kiddo to McCuiston Group for seven months now. We've had only positive experiences with the nurses, doctors, and staff. They've gotten us in same-day for emergency visits. Never a long wait at the office before appointments. We love the new location at Walter Reed as well. Shout-outs to Sarah Lartey, who is so attentive to the baby and patient with us parents, and to nurse Jay, who recently administered a booster shot so quick and easy that our little one didn't cry at all.
