I'm a white guy living in Boise, Idaho so take this review with a grain of salt. The portions here are great. I got the carnitas burrito, the taco salad with steak and the bean dip and guac. They were all solid. The service was great. The server sent us home with our uneaten chips and some extra salsa. It was super good at home the next day. This is an excellent choice if you're in downtown Boise. Maybe not the most authentic place, but who cares if the food tastes amazing and the portions are very filling?? 10/10!!
We had a 20-minute wait, but the restaurant texts when your table is ready. The two of us shared starters so we could try more- 5 street tacos (juicy and flavorful) and the dip flight. A great meal with a couple of cold Modelos really dished off a fun day in Boise!
I loved the food I ordered. Unfortunately my waitress took my half eaten plate mid bite and asked my friend if she would “die” because of her severe allergy. Super disappointed in the hosts communication with us as well. Overall, loved the part of the food I received but did not love the service.
