The management here is part of a giant corporation and has 0 sense of resident loyalty. One time their system had an error with pulling the rent out of my account and my bank confirmed that the error was on the Apartment management's end....but these people still charged me late fees and forced me to pay my rent with a cashiers check for three months. I lived at The Marling for two years and had a fantastic experience. I was drawn to The Marling for its great location, but stayed because of the awesome management. They were super responsive, set up fun events, and were always friendly. If I weren’t moving to another state, I would have stayed here longer!
The parking ramp has reserved parking for the businesses nearby which is nice. However, the door to it locks before the businesses close locking peoples cars inside. Edit: Owner seems responsive, hopefully this will be resolved to help people not get locked out in the future! Thank you for response.
Completely agree with the other 1 Star reviews for this dump. The staff was very inconsiderate and condescending when trying to rent an apartment at this overpriced complex. It's almost like I was inconveniencing them when trying to schedule a viewing of a unit. Plenty of better places in the metro Madison area!
