I would NOT recommend living at this complex or any other Landmark Property (includes the Standard). We had a car towed and booted in one week. Although they sent numerous lengthy emails (War and Peace was more to the point) regarding parking it was not clear. They would not budge on reimbursing the towing fee ($225 cash only). Although the Manager was very responsive, I reached out to Landmark Properties and one of the co-founders and not a reply was heard. Never seen anything like it.

I’ve lived here for over two years now. They purposely did not tell u that they would be building right outside my window until after everyone renewed our leases then announced that a new building was going up RIGHT OUTSIDE MY WINDOW. The construction starts as early as 4-5am , it’s awful. Not only that but the service and wifi in this building sucks, management is unhelpful, and maintenance takes forever. Don’t live here, it’s not worth how much it is!!!

Great place to live for college students who are seeking the typical downtown scene and a relaxing atmosphere - up on the rooftop at the pool. Love the amenities like the pool, golf simulator, and gym! Although parking is strict, I feel safe here and that I am getting what I am paying for.

The mark is the ABSOLUTE worst place to live. They do not care about their residents AT ALL! The manager’s response to everything is “I don’t care”. Do not bother shopping at any of the retail shops. Even if you’re a paying customer at a retail shop, you will still get a 50 dollar boot on your car “since you live at the mark and can park somewhere else”. I do not see a difference between me, a paying retail customer who happens to live at the mark, and any other customer. The boot man said that if I didn’t have a “blue The M... read more

Business response:

Thanks for your review, Cortney. Unfortunately, our close proximity to campus and downtown create the necessity for parking enforcement. While we understand that this is not always a popular policy, we cannot maintain parking for our residents, guests, and retail tenants without it. That being said, we do want to help our residents avoid parking enforcement issues at all costs, which is why we communicate our parking policies throughout the contract term. We're sorry to hear that you haven't enjoyed your experience and we ho... read more

DO NOT SHOP AT THE RETAIL SPACES, THE SIGNAGE IS VAGUE AND EVEN IN JUST TEN MINUTES MY CAR WAS BOOTED A FIFTY DOLLAR TOLL. HIGHWAY ROBBERS, EVEN THE EMPLOYEES OF THE RETAIL SPACES GET BOOTED. THEY HAVE A PARKING ATTENDANT IN A RED RECENT MODEL TRUCK THAT SITS AND WAITS FOR SOMEONE TO VIOLATE. GUESS THEY LOVE TRUMP TOO.

Drop your relationship with SimpleBills or at least admit you share in the revenues generated by the required monthly service fee or the exorbitant 'estimated' final bill of which you have to request to get any overages refunded or lose it. In Athens alone, the service fee for @3000 residents is @ $12k a month, right? It took too many phone calls to get issues with billing resolved. After living in the Mark for two years paying all that rent they had the nerve to charge my son $40 for marks on the wall in the bedroom and $50... read more
