I believe that the work this organization is doing is an integral and important part of the campaign to save critically endangered species. The staff and volunteers deserve our deepest respect and highest regards for their tireless efforts, dedication and sacrifice.
Thanks you to all volunteers!!
The Marine Mammal Center just came out to Montaro Beach and rescued a seal that appeared to be injured - possibly broken bones. Thank you!!!
Great cause and a friendly staff. The number of animals saved is amazing.
What's so amazing about this place is that there are over 1,000 volunteers, and they respond to stranded animals up and down 600 miles of CA coast. Maybe they don't get to each animal in time, like Ivana Bellorado mentions, but considering this is a nonprofit that depends on people just like you and me for funding, they do incredible work. I've worked here for 15 years and volunteer as well, and in addition to the rescue work, the Center does incredibly important scientific work and education.
The Marine Mammal Center has a 4.8 star rating with 1,383 reviews.
The Marine Mammal Center is closed now. It will open tomorrow at 10:00 a.m.
