Our guide was fantastic! He was so thoughtful and responsive to my students' many questions and ended up spending a lot more time with them than was scheduled. He was knowledgeable and interesting, and clearly loved what he did. My kids had a great time and learned a lot. Thank you!

In addition to their impressive non profit rescue and research facilities - they have amazing educational opportunities. Looking to better understand pinnipeds and how you can have a positive impact on our marine mammal neighbors? Sign up for one of their tours! You won't regret it.

Best place in Marin to educate children (and adults!) about the health of the California coast. They rescue and rehabilitate marine mammals. Highly recommend the guided tour. Excellent place to volunteer and/or donate to help these deserving creatures.

I grew up visiting the old Marine Mammal Center and I am so happy to see that the facility has grown, in order to accommodate more patients. I took the kitchen tour last year and recently took the general tour yesterday- both were excellent and I am happy to learn of the success stories and know that many of their patients were returned back to sea. Thank you to all the volunteers, Docents, and veterinarians for your genuine care!

The Marine Mammal Center is a God send to these lovelies in need! I've been following them for a year and I am amazed at all the wonderful work, dedication and care that they provide to mammals in their most desperate time of need. It makes me feel good to donate a few dollars when I can, knowing a couple of bucks will provide fish that is much needed, because these guys always have their mouths open! ;) <3

One of best ways to spend a day. After visiting the Marine Mammal Center, head to the beach and ocean and take an easy hike, enjoying the clean salt air and the sound of waves....then head into Sausalito downtown for a well-deserved dinner.
