My parents used to own this theater from 1976 to late 1979 early 1980. It has always been a part of my life and I have so many fond memories there from sitting up in the projector room watching a movie and throwing popcorn down on people LOL, to all the holidays we spent there and how the place used to be decorated. Old theater that is close in distance to me. It reminds me of times long ago. You usually save a few dollars because you don't get the more high tech surround sound as much.
Had our child's 8th birthday party there three days ago. The whole day was fantastic! New owners Debra and Dave ensured the day was a complete success!!! The kids cannot stop talking about it with their parents and we are still hearing about the great time they had at the party! Other parents have begun asking about The Lyon Theater and we are telling as much as we can. What a great place for a party!
