One thing after another I'm writing my review here because apparently Yelp "filtered" the one their website. I was happy with this location the first time I went. Friendly folks, quick service, and they explained everything you were purchasing and what they were doing. The second time I went: When I called over the phone, I asked for the minimum oil change and for the price of the wipers, which she said was about 67.00 overall (22 for wipers). excellent service and professional employees I have visited The lube center twice in the past 6 months and i must say they are very educated and reliable. There is a technian by the name of Thomas who worked on my car both times, this young man who is very personable and knows his stuff. No way I'll ever go there again. Wosrt prices, and incompetent "technicians". They only want to sell the overpriced services they think you will buy. They yell back and forth about the women in the cars. Code 6 means that there's a girl to look at in a car. If you hear this, all the guys will suddenly need a drink, or make an appearance. I would recommend another place to spend your hard earned dollars.
What a fleece job! I made the mistake of having my wife take our car into this place. They tried to sell her a lot of flushes and cleanings, and so forth that she questioned because the car only has 28,000 miles on it. She told them not to do any of it and took it to our mechanic who looked at it and let us know that it was all really fine. So if you want to get fleeced take your car to the lube center and let them flush the money out of your wallet. Thats what they really want.
Terrible Work Ethic, Takes advangate of customers. WATCH OUT Worst Experience Ever. I would not recommend this place if my life depended on it. They will take advantage of non-car savvy people saying that you need this flush or that and insisting if you dont get it you're car will require serious maintenance.
C The Lube Center on Jefferson has wonderful service.NEVER trust anything they tell you. Let them change your oil and be on our way. On many occassions they have told me I needed work done When taken to a trusted mechanic each time he has determined that no repairs were needed.
Lube Center is dishonest I had been a loyal customer at Lube Center for several years. On my last visit, the technician opened the glove compartment to check the cabin air filter. When he was done, he evidently failed to reattach all of the parts correctly. After leaving the shop, the heater began making a loud rattling noise. When I returned to the shop, they denied any responsibility. They were smug and indifferent, suggesting that I had caused the problem myself. Caveat Emptor If you know nothing about your car and the maintenance it requires, this place will hose you in a heartbeat. I have watched (and intervened) on several occasions where the top side technicians (usually young inexperienced kids) use guilt and fear tactics to scare (mostly women) into buying services they don't need.
