Restuarant I have been invited to the Athletic Club for a few meetings. The place is really upscale and the emloyees are professional, yet really friendly. The food is outstanding with service to match.
Good place to workout i have been a member for 6 or 7 months and have used the pool (my daughter has done swim lessons) the basketball court (good pick up games at lunch) and the treadmills and have not been disappointed. the staff seems to be attentive and you never have to wait to get on a machine. it is a little pricey but the little things like having your own locker and having towels supplied for you among other things add up to make it worthwhile.
A hidden gem This facility is much more than a gym. Although, as a gym, it's about 3-floor's worth. The club is in an old LA building downtown, and due to its multiple ballrooms, often hosts meetings and events for a wide variety of organizations and individuals. There are lounges for members to schmooze or relax with food and drink.
