Beautiful Lodge, love all the woodwork and the rooms are very large and roomie. We got a fireplace, which was really nice. But this isn't or can't be a 5 diamond resort, and although the food at the Grill was good, service was subpar! Service is not the priority at the Resort!

The Lodge is rustic looking yet fancy in a comfortable sort of way. The service by all the staff is tremendous. They go out of their way to show you rather than tell, do whatever they can for you, and always smile politely. I would highly recommend The Lodge at Torrey Pines. The only mark they have against them is that they serve Pepsi products, not Coke
