Awesome addition to Lake Hartwell restaurants! The bacon wrapped scallops were perfect and I can't wait to try their steak dujour. You can even grab a hotdog or pizza if that's your choice!

It was exceptional! We sat on the deck, great view over the lake. The kids played corn hole and enjoyed pizza. I ordered the tacos. The sauce on the steak taco was very tastey and the tuna taco was fresh and delicious. Server was great, took excellent care of us. We'll certainly be back! The owners even came to the table to check on us and make sure we were having the best experience possible. The place was clean. I could go on and on. Love it!
Fantastic people, fantastic owners and fantastic location. You won’t go wrong at The Local and that goes for their wonderful food and great cocktails as well. All I want is more craft beer, but I’m selfish that way. Love it!
Best food on the lake for sure! Justin's Reuben?? Oh my gosh!! TO DIE FOR!!!! This place truly has it all from the perfect lake setting with all kinds of outdoor seating, a cool and fun indoor atmosphere with quiet dining upstairs to a full bar with darts, a jukebox and Golden Tee downstairs!! Come check it out! You will be returning time and time again!! On the lake? Bouy S10 will be your go-to!! :) Great work Shane and Sarah and great work to all of the staff as well!!
My husband and I enjoyed 4 unique items on their menu - appetizers to main course on SCC Volunteer night and my Sister from Atlanta and I attended the Wednesday Opening at the bar. Every dish and every drink was wonderful! Tucker and Taylor took great care of us and we could not have been more welcomed. The changes are amazing - so, come see us at The Local - Stone Creek Cove Community and meet Shane & Sarah Dowler Restaurant Owners and experience their vision on the lake!
I have been there twice already. Wonderful atmosphere and fun people. Great spot on the lake!! I've had the Korean lettuce wraps (Awesome! ) the NY Strip with Horseradish (Delicious and perfectly prepared) and a pizza (yummy with Alfredo sauce). They are just getting started and the response has been tremendous. So happy to have this restaurant in the neighborhood!!
