Food was good, prices are reasonable and love that it's available to boaters! We will be back.
Food and staff are great. We got dockside pick up this past weekend, and it was so convenient. We ordered online, and they called us when it was ready. We pulled up to the dock, and they handed us our food without having to leave our boat. Great addition to Lake Hartwell.
Great location, great food, great staff. What more could you want? Love everything about The Local.

We came for the first time with our family on Memorial Day. The service was incredibly slow. The food was good, but no one wants to wait an hour for food when you are the only ones in the restaurant. The kids burger was so small, my kiddo was still hungry. It didn’t even fill up half the bun. We thought maybe it was growing pains so we gave it another try. Again service was ridiculously slow. I would give the food a 3 or 4, but the service a 1. I understand being busy, but you can acknowledge customers. It took 45 minutes at a table in the bar to even place a food order. Drinks sat empty for a good 20 minutes even after the place cleared out. Bartender just kept walking past and going outside. Finally had to get up and stand at the bar to try and get the bartenders attention so we could pay. No friendly "how was everything", just playing on her phone and chanting "losers", no interest in going back.
We came there last night our first time. We ordered our food at 5 after 6 pm and it got to be 20 till 8 pm and still no food hadn’t even started cooking it yet so we had to leave. Maybe try again
