The Local Butcher Shop offers our community sustainably raised, local meat. We buy whole animals direct from farmers who are all located within 150 miles of Berkeley. All of the meat we sell comes from animals who have been 100% pasture raised, no antibiotics, no hormones, just pure, clean, true meat. Drove an hour and 10 minutes from San Jose to get a Sand, but Chez Panisse hoarded all the beef short ribs...ILL BE BACK!
Wow, what a great spot for quality meats. The customer service was fantastic, would recommended to anyone looking for pastured meats. The fennel sausage was out of this world.
A great butcher shop is a rare find these days. I drove 30 mins to get here and it was worth the effort and the fuel! Not only a great selection - the team are super helpful!
