The Local Butcher Shop offers our community sustainably raised, local meat. We buy whole animals direct from farmers who are all located within 150 miles of Berkeley. All of the meat we sell comes from animals who have been 100% pasture raised, no antibiotics, no hormones, just pure, clean, true meat. I've been to the farms and slaughterhouses that supply here. there was so much blood and feces everywhere that vomiting was inhibited. DO NOT GO. ITS ALL MARKETING LIES

Great selection of quality meats.
This might be a little weird coming from a vegetarian. If I ate 🥩 I’d shop here. Grass fed and locally sourced are what I liked about the business. Also, I am impressed by how they addressed their business with the local animal rights organization. Although I decided to be a vegetarian, that’s a personal choice. I don’t proclaim my way is the RIGHT way and everyone else should fall in line. My family are meat eaters and I will always provide top quality humanely sourced animal product for them.
