Had a pretty good dinner here back in May of 2016. The appetizers are awesome! My steak, however, was tough and difficult to eat. When I mentioned it to the wedding planner the next day, she seemed unconcerned. That should tell you something. A year later, we attended a wedding reception. Again, the appetizers were outstanding. The dinners, okay. Perhaps they should take the same amount of time and care with their entrees that they do with their apps. Nice environment, though!!

The food was EXCELLENT! Everything we ordered was hot and delicious. The beer cheese soup was one of best I've ever had. The atmosphere and the service were great too, and someday we will return when we visit Charlottesville again!
We sat at the bar and had a few drinks Wed evening. The service was outstanding and the drinks delicious! It's great when the bartender is friendly and talks to his customers. Yes .... we haven't always had that in Charlottesville. Dakota is a great bartender!
We arrived on a busy Friday night, but the hostess quickly found us a table upstairs on the balcony where it was quiet and very enjoyable in the early evening. Pork chop was great, the stuffed squash was delicious, but the fried brussel sprouts and cauliflower were pure nirvana. What topped the evening off was the jazz trio playing outdoors across the street making our Friday night date night one of our more pleasant experiences in our vacation weekend in Charlottesville.
