They catered our wedding and were wonderful! Food was delicious. We had the Acorn Squash and Roasted Chicken. Staff was conscientious. So happy about our choice to use The Local. They delivered the food in a really timely manner. The bartenders were able to keep up with a big crowd. They had a great wine, beer and liquor selection.

The beef short ribs with the Demi glace was outstanding. Very very tender and miles of flavor. Highly recommend this.
Our reservation was 7 pm - our first drink arrived at 7.50 pm - and I wouldn’t blame the server - our food came half an hour later - obviously too many customers for the staff - food was fab!!!
Besides the fact our waitress was in the weeds,so it was hard to get everything we needed in a timely manner, everything was very good. We enjoyed our meal. We ordered the Brussels sprout/cauliflower appetizer, meatloaf, roasted squash, a side of the pimento Mac'n cheese, and the brownie sundae. I would have loved to have tried the fried chicken but I don't like dark meat chicken. Hopefully the wait staff will be better staffed next time. We will definitely eat here again when in town.
NOT VERY KID FRIENDLY, BUT SERVICE AND FOOD WAS VERY GOOD
We used The Local Restaurant and Catering for our wedding and I could not say enough about how wonderful everything was. We had so many guests commenting about the food and how delicious it was. We also paid a little extra to have them do the day of coordinating and that was well worth it, Helen was amazing. Highly reccommend them if you are getting married in Charlottesville!
