Being away from New Orleans, My GF and I went to eat here and I have to tell you, that is as authentic as it gets. Love the size of the portions, and sandwiches. you get what you pay for, and that is a lot being 2000 miles from the city with the best food in the country. I will be back very soon!

Had yet another fried oyster po'boy today, and it was the best yet. Chef Marcus seems to have taken the gloves off, because this sandwich had a welcome kick from the first bite. Also, in the past, it's been dangerous to eat the whole huge thing (I want to keep eating them, after all, and not descend into gluttony) but today's fine-tuned masterpiece, packed with oysters, was somehow lighter than ever before. Perfection.

It does not get any better than this. Always great food, made with heart. And a selection of Nawlins grocery items for those pining for other culinary comforts of the Crescent City. Places like this are what make LA a great city and add a slinky, syncopated note to an already lively Downtown & Chinatown food scene.

First time stopping in, been there 3 times in the last week, the daily specials are amazing (Gumbo). The shrimp Po' Boy is my favorite sandwich so far. But I have a lot more sampling to do like the Cochon de Lait and oyster Po' Boy. The crawfish Mac n' cheese and home made banana pudding are definitely a must have (enough to share). Really good home made style dishes, good music and really good people, you gotta to get in here.
