We love LJNO! What a great place! We drive down from the SFV for beignets and po'boys! My picky kids always find something they love. Don't forget the grocery side for awesome, hard-to-find southern staples. Marcus and his crew are dedicated to making awesome New Orleans food!!
Love these folks for bringing the real n.o. experience to Chinatown/dtla. The owners and staff are good people who respect those who respect them.
Definitely a jewel tucked inside Chinatown L.A. (y) great to have found this place whenever I'm having those Cajun or Creole cravings :) NOLA right in the backyard, love it, and the service and people are top notch! Will definitely be coming back again soon.
Real deal food. Amazing bbq shrimp. I got the cochon de lait po' boy to go, ate it cold at home. It was without a doubt the best po' boy I have ever had and I used to live just outside New Orleans.
I can't say enough good things about this place. Located in a market with a deli counter and tables for dining. There's a paper menu or you can look at the menu written on the wall. They play cool New Orleans music. I went twice in one day. I had both the shrimp Po Boy, and the oyster Po Boy. My second visit I had the Crawfish Mac and cheese. Everything was delicious. I can't wait to come back and try more menu items.
A customer posted a comment about her experience at this establishment, and it was not a good one and the business responded to her calling her uneducated, a racist and a hoodrat. I don't care how good the food may be to others but any business that treats there customers like this should not be in business. I would never recommend the business to anyone.

My husband and I found this little jewel over a year ago. Keep coming back because we try a new sandwich everytime and it's always a new experience. The flavors are out of this world! The tenderness and juciness of their meats is beyond words. And the staff here are the best :D Thank you little jewel for amazing flavors and the good times of eating my favorite kind of food.
