Oh my... the Po’ Boys are huge. I ordered 2 thinking they’d be equivalent in size to a lobster roll and I was shocked! Bought the 1/2 shrimp and 1/2 oysters. Spicy... deliciousness. In the time of COVID, had to take my sandwich home but even the 20 min travel time did not take away from the flavors. The beignets were also yummy. I’d offer my review of the fries I ordered but I was so stuffed I had to save them for another day.

Things change & not always for the better. Went back here recently (last week)and had the catfish platter. The catfish nuggets were over fried & the batter was very thick, you absolutely need the condiments to give it flavor. The coleslaw was dry. The one thing that was good on my plate was the hush puppie.

"Surf & Turf" po'boy sandwich was delicious; all of the flavors blended together wonderfully. Can't wait to come back!

I found out, much to my dismay, that the grocery area is now barely a quarter the size it used to be, as seating for eating was expanded. Many of the products are no longer available. Also I tried to buy some Abita beer (which I can easily get at Bevmo and for cheaper, but I was trying to support an authentic New Orleans estab... read more
