I had a horrible experience with PRDC Properties and would not recommend them to anyone looking for a rental in Center City (especially if you’re a nursing/medical/masters/etc student). The issues began right from the start, particularly with Shawntay, who was supposed to assist in the rental process. Her lack of responsiveness was appalling. I lived here from 2018-2019 and it deserves 5 stars
I’m currently a medical student at SKMC. I live in 1222 Locust Street (The Lincoln) (moved in July 2021), and have had health issues living here. The entire apartment complex has what I think is black mold (I took pictures back in October 2021), and I have recently developed asthma/difficulty breathing. I went to the pulmonologist last week, and they strongly suspect that my living conditions here are contributing to my recent diagnosis of pulmonary disease—they gave me a medical notice. Shawntay and Chloe are responsive and helpful, don't get me wrong. However, I lived in the Lincoln (1222 Locust) and found the PRDC Properties rental division to have terrible management. The manager Robert Bricker literally ignored e-mails, texts, phone calls, and pretended to be busy when I walked into their office at 740 Sansom even though I saw him walk past the front desk when I arrived.
