Great food and locally brewed libations!! The lunch specials always make for a difficult choice!
Was my first time this weekend and I honestly have to say that I will be back. Loved the Haddock Napoleon and the atmosphere. Our waiter Michael was AMAZING!!

Went here for dinner last night, after moving to Augusta 2 weeks ago - we tried about half the menu and LOVED EVERY BITE! Some of the best food I've ever had. We loved it so much we went back for lunch today! This will absolutely become our regular pub - can't wait to try the other half of the menu! You can't come to this area and not try The Liberal Cup!

A visit to the Liberal Cup in Hallowell is always a MUST on our visits to Maine! I'm originally from Yorkshire,England so I'm always on the look out for good fish and chips! The haddock and chips at the Liberal Cup is always excellent,and served with malt vinegar too! We always enjoy their own beers(my husband was mightily impressed with the porter and I love the Bug lager!).The staff are always welcoming and friendly.See you next time!

I LOVE it here! Best fish and chips I've ever had. It's always fun to see what the beer cheese soup combo will be!!! Specials are always great as well!!! Lovely atmosphere.
