We've been huge fans since the Land & Water opening. We were pleased when two long- time friends, chef/ cuisine instructors from San Francisco, were visiting and booked L& W for dinner. I needn't have mentioned to Owner, Rob Ruiz, that we had "fussy guests"! They raved from the first amuse Bunche through the final entree. In fact, we are still reading complimentary texts as they drive north to home! Thank you L& W family!
Incredible food world-class location, so glad to have gone there and learn what an amazing place is right down the road from me.
I wish I could give more than 5 stars! Tonight was our first time here and we asked to sit at the bar. We had Chef Rob and let me say, I have never seen someone with so much passion for what they do. I've lived in CA my entire life and THIS is the best sushi I've ever had. Thank you Chef Rob and thank you to the entire staff! You guys are trusty the best!

Our son bought us a gift certificate based on a recommendation of his local staff (he's on the East Coast and clueless about where to eat in North County). We planned for an early dinner and a peak at the speakeasy downstairs. We were greeted with courtesy (we had a reservation and were greeted by name).
