Great fish n chips. Service was kind of slow. I will say they were very busy though. The crowd may have been unexpected.
Ate there tonight, got the broiled flounder- it was tasteless and overpriced, to add a trip to salad bar as a side costs $5 and you get a tiny salad plate, my baked potato was inedible- looked like it was leftover from the day before- the inside was gray and dense. The crab dip was good and they have a nice salad bar but it costs too much to get it with a meal. My friend got wings as her meal and wanted to add a salad, that cost $8! RecommendedIt's been great watching this restaurant morph under new management. The decor has had a refreshing facelift - and they ARE developing their menu. I'm happy to see a 'tighter' menu - staff is willing to work with folks on particular favs but that's how new management is going to learn. Support the Lamplighter!!!!!!!!! wowoooooo!!!
First time eating at the Lamplighter. Drove our pontoon up from Henderson Point and had the most awesome experience. Madison was the bomb...even helped me find some flip flops because mine were about to break. (Thanks girl) Food was great...atmosphere was great. We will definitely make it part of our future trips to Kerr Lake. Thanks!!
Great place to hang out. Great food and love the Bloody Mary. The company I work for have our meetings there food is always great. I've always had good service. Looming forward to lake fest.
JUST HAD THE BLACKENED CATFISH TACOS!! THEY WERE THE BOMB!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!
