Family had dinner there last night for the first time! We had the crab dip appetizer, prime rib specials and the kids had the salad bar! It was very good! We will be returning on our next trip to Clarksville!
Nice place. It's just been renovated with a fresh new paint job and other upgrades. Huge menu, so something for everyone. We usually ride our motorcycles there and have always been able to accommodate out group. Lots of locals, right near the lake. Staff is great
It's better than it was. Burger was good this time, but I ordered peppers and mushrooms as an add on to the burger, each add-on cost 50 cents above the base burger, and I got 3 slivers of a green pepper. Wife ordered shrimp with green beans, they are canned green beans and had no seasoning that could be noticed. Service was good till food was delivered, then they didn't come back guess I didn't actually want a refill or to order my wife another round.
What happened? The inside is beautiful,gorgeous and just breath taking. Then the food came and was the exact opposite! No flavor,bland, in fact hospital food would have been better! Blackened chicken Alfredo had NO seasoning on it (it was the whitest blackened chicken EVER) the Alfredo tasted like heavy whipping cream with chives. My husband's hamburger steak was something out of the frozen food section but lacked even salt and pepper, the mashed potatoes were out of a box and green beans out of a can. Sitting at table sun is bright and blinding us at table. Where did the blinds go?
Ordered the shrimp po boy. Popcorn shrimp mostly breading and side salad I ordered as side choice lettuce was slimy and inedible
Stopped to have breakfast This morning. Thought perhaps I try the Lamplighter again. Wow WOW!!! What a great improvement.. the place is looking great. Light and bright and my food came to table fast and delicious. So after several years off downward slide to greasy spoon dump... they are revived. Y’all really should come give them a try.
