I would have given them five stars if we weren't rushed for our curtain call for Hamilton from a 6 pm reservation, and they forgot it was my wife's birthday after confirming w hostess upon arrival. Otherwise great choice for pre-theater
We attended their New Years Eve dinner. It was absolutely superb, and now takes over from Eleven Mad as my favourite NYC restaurant. Geoffrey Zachatian was there and was very gracious and frindly
It was WAY over priced! There was only 3 of us there and they decided to add a 18% tip to our bill. They forgot to bring some food to us, and also brought food to us that we didn’t order. Two of us ran out of water and had to wait for a bit for someone to bring us more water. Food was fair, not the best, but not the worst. But I don’t know how they think they should have got 18% tip, let alone get to decide to add there own tip to the bill. Not a very happy camper, I will not be going back there again. We were in The Bar. Great food. Great service from David, et al. Great ambiance. A bit pricey but worth it.
Art Deco. Clubby feel. Try the carmelized sunchoked veloute, the Italian Burrata salad and the Faroe Island Salmon. All superb. Wait staff attentive. Atmospherics perfect.
