Plays terrible blaring music at the pool. Not only is the music very old, loud, and depressing, there are more commercials than music. Could at least play music through a satellite music company or pay 10$ a month for a streaming service. Worst apartment pool ever
They destroyed their own community with a wide spread tree removal to save money. This place is a corporate nightmare. Good healthy shade providing safe trees. Even in the corners of the parking lots where they don’t bother anyone. It’s horrible.

The tree removal is not to save money, it’s actually an added expense and once the project is complete we plan to redo landscape by each building along with purchasing some new trees! During the covid-19 pandemic when many people are unable to work, this apartment complex has chosen to not only offer no reasonable assistance to residents regarding rent but has also required residents to pay rent online and pay an additional $30 credit card processing fee. This is disgraceful. I would never consider living at The Lakes at College Pointe and encourage anyone looking for a place to live in Fort Myers to consider any other community that cares about their residents.
Beautiful inside and out, affordable,great location, friendly staff, dog friendly, fast maintenance, clean property... So glad I found this place! I've been living here for almost a year in a half and have no complaints!:)
RecommendedWe’ve lived here a little over a year and we love it. A very friendly staff who welcomes residents and pets to visit in the Club House and get puppy cookies. A great swimming pool and fabulous fitness center. The staff work hard to keep the grounds clean and fresh. Very happy here.
11 yrs this has been my home and a beautiful home it’s been. Things go wrong like anywhere and if you don’t report it the staff doesn’t know to fix it. It’s hands down the best location in fort Myers, everything is in walking distance! My favorite amenity will always be the pool! Maintenance staff has always been friendly and gets the job done!
I have lived here for 12 years and I love it. The staff is great, friendly and very professional. They always take care of everything promptly. The pool is beautiful and a great gym. The location is perfect. Having publix right outside of the complex and you have a variety of places, CVS , Wallmart, restaurants. You can walk to all those places. I really love it here. Do NOT move in here. Not only is their management a joke, but when we moved out they charged us almost a grand for charges that made no sense. They said they had to replace the whole carpet for one or two stains, not including the one that was already there when we moved in, $600 something for that. They said the microwave plate was missing when it was there when we left, a charge for the tile and grout which was swept and moped and SPOTLESS when we left, and they charged us $100 for touch up paint when they gave us the pain... read more
Amazing. I still live in this community and the apartments are perfectly located near a publix and school. The service is perfect. I have nothing to complain about thus far. I would recommend to others and I do often.
