I moved in a little over a year ago. The only reason I renewed my lease here, was because of the expenses of moving I was not prepared for. After three months of renewal, I am GLADLY breaking this lease for a job transfer. It was like a heaven sent to get out of this place. They find way to keep your deposit and make you pay for their terrible upkeep
We love living here! My roomates have been here for over two yrs. We just renewed for 18 mos. The people that work here have all been there for us.-It may not have anything to do with the apt. but they try to help. I know that's not their job so it's more like family we don't have in fl We didn't know anyone when we moved in. Every week they have this social called Thirsty Thursday. If you want to live in DETROIT 2.0 then come here. Nosy and unprofessional office staff. Maintenance is blah and is constantly in your apt every 90 days to change a filter(spy). Freezing here in the winter hot in the summer because of poor ventilation(be prepared for high utility bills). Rent is raised whenever the median income for Shelby Twp goes up and again during your lease renewal. These people were so nice to us until we signed the lease. Now, every time I go to the office the people just don't care and are rude. They lost our application and told us different things every time we came in. Now they say they won't work with us regarding our rent, and I woke up with a roach on my face one morning. Can not wait to get out.
THey have the cool apartments at a great price. I love the fire places and having a washer and dryer hook up. The Maint and Office people rock to.
Moved in last summer when new owners took over i was afraid that everything would bad, but the manager that left promised she was leaving the property in good hands. She did. The new owners are making changes but they are improvements, the people in the office are nice and I still see the old manager from time to time. My apartment is great and if i call in a workorder Omar is there quick to take care of it. I'm glad I made this decision.
Very nice place to live & nice area. Very interested in making it my next home.
