Steak WITH Sides – Visited from Chicago (we know our steak!) and this place was great! Romantic, dark setting. Cool bar and views of Union Station. The steak was tender and oh so tasty! Great service and suggestions. Value was amazing: $20-$30 for steak which included your choice of side! Dinner with apps and drinks: $68!
RR – Went to the Keg just before a Saturday Denver Stock Show and was surprised at the ease of curb parking btwn 5-6pm. The steaks were superb-we had the Classic Filet and New York Strip dinners. I usually will have some type of topping or even a steak sauce, but these steaks were so flavorable and tender that they melted in your mouth-no need to even use the steak knife!! Unique dining experience – I went to The Keg not knowing what to expect and was pleasently suprised, The building is beautiful and is oozing with charachter and mood. The service was very friendly and efficient. There wasn't the snoodiness that most servers in nice steakhouses seem to have. Not the Chophouse...thank goodness! – Prompt service, great bar, Hotel recommended as best steak and Value in the area. They were right. Great atmosphere and casual. Great wine list too!
Great food & Service - Highly recommend! – We've been here on several occasions, and cannot complain about a thing. The atmosphere is great, the service & food has always been top notch! If you haven't been here, it's worth the trip. I do recommend reservations....
First date, great. – I came to the Keg the first time on the recommendation of a friend for a first date. I must say I was duely impressed! The service was superb, the seperation of the dining area from the bar allowed for a more intimate setting and the food was super. They even gave us a complementary appetizer for it being a first date! I will return and highly recommend. Reservations would be a good idea on a busy night.
Great Value! – Wow! Very impressive. Best value in downtown as far as steakhouses go. No problem getting in on Friday night although we did wait about 35 minutes in a very comfortable bar with outstanding fun service. The prime rib was excellent, and for the price can not be beat. I'm sold, and will definately become a regular!
Great Canadian steakhouse – This is a great new addition to LoDo. It blows the chophouse off the map. If you had a bad experience waiting when they had a 3 hour wait, please tell me a restaurant you had a good experience in when trying to wait three hours. I was told they don't like to take resevations, but not that they wouldn't and we made them and had an exceptional time.
This Place Stinks! – Worst dining experience in Denver. Called for a reservation, only to ber told "we don't like to take reservations, but our dining room is very big, and even on weekends, the wait is never more than 20 minutes." When we arrived we were told that the wait would be 3 hours, have a seat in the bar and we will call you when your table is ready.
