Excellent food. Hidden secret restaurant at the end of Royal st outside of the French Quarters. Highly recommend
Best BBQ in da city. Y'all should really do BBQ competitions. Food is so good you jus shake your head the whole time eating.

Simply Amazing. Excellent ribs, burnt ends and sausage. 10 minutes away from downtown but very cool drive to get to the joint. Uber took 25 minutes to pick us back up.
I am a self proclaimed BBQ expert and critic, I have been cooking BBQ for years, private parties and public events, I'm from Chesapeake, Virginia, this is my second trip to The Joint, first one was at the old location and the food is still great, best BBQ I have ever had, I tell all my friends that are going to New Orleans to make sure you visit The Joint, I tell them Burbon Street is ok but The Joint is the greatest BBQ in the world !!
If you want BBQ and are near NOLA stop, you won't be disappointed
