Disgusting!! This is billed as a Marriott Portfolio Hotel, but has not been updated in 25 years. They market 4 of their updated rooms that are not available to guests then put you in old rooms with very old moldy tile. The manager is very unfriendly and not willing to help at all. Expedia was unwilling to help also. The carpet in the hallway is old and stained. It reminds me of an old Howard Johnson's. This hotel is a dump. Starting with a dead plant at the front door. It has not been maintained or ever updated. The windows are the original and any noise from outdoors is brought into your room. Many late night partiers and their loud shenanigans are heard throughout your room. Sleep was minimal due to this noise. One star was given due to the closeness to the beach. I would not recommend staying here. The price per night was extremely high. I have never stayed in such a dump! Nor will I stay there again!
