I was referred to Dr. Hnilica’s clinic for my German Shepherd, Dixie, who’s been suffering from terrible allergies that medication hasn’t been able to control. I was really hopeful to finally get her the specialized care she needs after we got a referral from our vet. Staff and doctor are absolutely fantastic! Treat you and your baby like family! Helped our 12 year old dachshund get relief from his allergies in a month something our regular vet couldn't do for years! Wish we would have gone to see them sooner! Highly recommend!
Scout first went to the clinic in February. His chest was bare, he had an eye infection, and his coat didn’t shine. The doctor assessed him, and made a follow up appointment for allergy testing. My poor hunting dog is allergic to so many different trees and types of grass. He’s now on a regimen of allergy shots, over the counter allergy medication, and allergy specific shampoo and conditioner. There’s also a topical spray, which is wonderful. The staff here are amazing! I have brought my dog here several times to get help with her allergies and they really try to educate you on things to try and help your pet. I have always felt I got more than my money’s worth. Just know going into it, it will probably take some time for trying different things they suggest to help your pet. You might not have an immediate solution, but you will have options. I have never felt like I was upsold at all, they always want to try the easiest and most affordable solutions first.
Took our dog there today, the doctors and staff were fantastic. I highly recommend them if your dog or cat is scratching and biting on itself
