Always been a great place, but today was a disappointment in food

Busy restaurant but the queue seemed to move fairly well. It was worth the wait as the food was excellent. Plenty of it and very tasty - the special paella was so tasty and full of seafood & meat. We will be back.

My 2 daughter’s (27 and 17) and I visited Sanibel for the first time last week and have to say The Island Cow was by far our favorite. So much so we ate there 3 times (2 dinners and 1 breakfast)! Always busy but we chose to sit at the bar each time and not only were we satisfied with our food, but Terry the bartender was just fantastic! He was friendly and accommodating!! He went above and beyond to ensure we were happy and satisfied! Thanks for the best meals we had away from home!

Absolutely worst dinner experience I’ve had in a long time! The shrimp is better at Outback. The “mood” was fine until the staff put out the citronella torches that were keeping out the hoards of mosquitos. We could not eat our food for slapping away the mosquitos and no-see-ums. The staff was unfazed by my suggestion that they warn the customer they will be eaten alive. No apology from staff. We do hope you'll give us a second chance. You are welcome to dine indoors if you'd prefer to completely eliminate the chance of local pests bothering you during your meal.
