The front end staff is absolutely AMAZING. Shout out to them because they are so kind and caring and make sure all your information is up to date. Dominique is my NP and if you're looking for a new PCP she is incredible. She's young and has a fresh and open mind but is extremely intelligent. She listens to your needs and concerns and goes out of her way to get things done for you. My last visit was in 1993 so this review is tardy because back then, there were no such things as 'reviews". Bottom line, Dr. Cohen told me that I needed to lose weight. I told him that I work out regularly, but he said, "Doesn't matter. All that matters is what you put in your mouth." I am giving him two stars because that stuck with me 30+ years later. He also gets two stars because he has the same bedside manner as a prison guard.
I've been a patient of this medical group for over 25 years and have never experienced such poor judgement. When I tested positive for COVID, Dr. Shaffer relayed through staff that I could either go to urgent care or come into the office after getting a blood test, both of which would have exposed others to COVID. I asked that he call me directly, but refused. My husband had COVID at the same time, and his doctor prescribed Paxlovid without requiring an office visit, exactly as it should be. I have been to this practice for many years and have the utmost respect for Dr. Cohen and his Nurse Practitioner Paige. They truly listen and care.
Ever since you swtiched to upstate university system its been nothing but problems for me getting prescription renewals and calling the office, the message always says they are extremely busy. Great move paul
