Me and my wife had the most wonderful time here the staff made you feel like family the room was great waking up to the view of the water and the breeze and the breakfast was amazing and the cookies the put out for afternoon snack were like your momma made them.
The crab puffs were delicious. Wedding we attended was well done
Just had our honeymoon here and it was absolutely beautiful! The staff from check in all the way to check out was excellent, made us feel right at home! We stayed in the Magnolia room and it was beautiful and so clean! We ate breakfast both mornings downstairs and the buxton hash was phenomenal! One night we ate at the restaurant for dinner and it was great! Loved this place and can't wait to come back again!
RecommendedWe stayed here for three nights on our first trip to the Outer Banks and would stay here again in a heartbeat. Lovely rooms, very good food, and a very charming and welcoming team. We booked last minute and they had no room available for our third night but were very helpful in organizing a trip to Ocracoke where we spent the night.
What a special place this is. We've been coming to the Outer Banks for years and pass this beautiful Inn. I decided to book a weekend for my husband's 50th birthday. From check in to check out we felt at home. The staff is extremely friendly, the views are amazing, the included breakfast is huge and tasty, coffee and baked goods at 3....should I go on? We had a wonderful relaxing much needed weekend away. Thank you Steve and staff!!

We just enjoyed 3 nights for our anniversary -- it was beyond expectations. The room (Magnolia) was perfect, the staff were all very friendly and helpful, and the food was delicious and beautifully presented. Service was fantastic -- a great "road trip" from Fenwick Island, DE -- highly recommend!
Dinner there last night was so good that we came back for more tonight! Amazing setting, awesome food (try the crab cakes), and exquisite presentation. Totally 5 star experience!
We stay here every year for a week. Away from the crowds but right on the water.
