I was completely underwhelmed by this hotel. The location is great and the decor was nice but service was less than (ex. bell hop, check-in, coffee and bar) and definitely they seemed distracted at all times. For being priced like other high end hotels nearby this was essentially a felt like a basic hotel in a high-end skin. Rooms were small and tired.

Valet service was extremely disappointing. When I dropped off my car, the attendant was polite and told me I would receive a text instead of a ticket. Twenty minutes later, no text. I returned to the valet stand and waited another 15 minutes, no one there. I eventually found the valet attendant at the front desk eating a meal with a receptionist. We stayed at The Industrialist Hotel while visiting family in Pittsburgh. The downtown location is excellent, and the lobby is truly beautiful. Valet service was attentive, and both check-in and check-out were effortless. Although the room was clean, it was smaller than anticipated and lacked the elevated feel we expected. Overall, the stay was pleasant but did not quite meet our expectations. We will explore other accommodations on our next visit.
