Just read an article about my hometown Newberry...just down the road. So glad to see Newberry is still moving forward. I lived in my hometown from the mid 1990s until 2007 when I returned to live to Northeast Florida to be near my children and their families. During my stay the Newberry Opera House opened and resurrected its place in midlands culture It was at one time the center of the South Carolina entertainment.
