I am a long time customer of The Image, but most importantly, of Schatzi Rafter, hairstylist extraordinare! Over the years, I have gone through many hairstyles and Schatzi has always given me the perfect blend of what I "want" to what really looks "best" for my hair. Once again, as always, my stylist Amy worked a miracle yesterday and made me gorgeous! I found her by accident nearly six years ago while looking for someone to transform me for my retirement luncheon. She's a genius! My color is so natural, not even my friend the princess could tell it wasn't my natural color. My cut is also perfect each time. And she's such a good listener. I've been going to The Image for over eight years. Amy is absolutely the best. She is trust worthy and will always make you look your best. I have long hair and don’t let just anyone touch it. I love how she makes me not only look beautiful but feel it too. She not only takes care of my hair but also my children’s hair. If you want professionalism, someone who listens to what you want and is not scissor happy, then you must go to Amy!
I have thick, coarse hair with a mind of its own. To say noting of its being on a very "mature" head. Unlike so many stylists I have encountered over the years, Chrissy listens to what I'd like and either does it that way OR tells me if my hair won't do that and offers a satisfactory alternative. I have been going to the Image for over 8 years now. Amy has been my stylist through thick and thin!! She even did my Senior Prom hair. I have had some disasters over the years and she has always been there to correct my bad decisions and laugh it off with me! If you are looking for a stylist who will make you feel at ease and give you exactly what you want - you need to ask for Amy!! I hope I stay in the area because it's going to get expensive commuting all the way back to VB to get my hair done, but I would do it! :)
When I was trying to find a good place to get a new haircut, I asked a dear friend who always looks great for her recommendation.That's how I found Stella and The Image. Stella listens to what you want, but also makes suggestions for those of us who are not quite sure what to do. Although I began with just a haircut, I have since tried colors, highlights and different styles, and get losts of compliments each time. along with Stella, the other employees are outstanding, making the whole experience a relaxing time.
This is a really great salon where you are sure to get the perfect haircut. ASK FOR AMY!--She is an awesome stylist who really knows what she is doing (I've been to a lot of stylists in VB and she is by far the best!). She will listen to exactly what you have to say and has never let me down. She also gives you great tips on doing things with my hair as well! I'll definitely be going back.
I have lived in hampton roads for over ten years now, and Amy at The Image is my wonderful stylist! She's honest, and caring when it come to my hair color and style. I have been seeing Stella for over 8 years now - I started with long hair & now it's short. When you enter the salon, you are greeted instantly & offered a cold or hot beverage to begin your personal time of relaxation.
