About this business
Greg restored the two bedroom upstairs apartment back to the original 1890 style and used the main floor as a work area. In 2006 Greg and Edie started working full time on restoring the main floor and building the restaurant. All the wood trim is either original or replicated out of mostly reclaimed materials to match the original trim that had been saved. Food was good, but service was horrible. Server said about 5 words to us, was very rude and seemed like she didn't want to be there. First time our family visited and we won't return

Was there for the first time. The food was good, and the prices fit well for the food. The service however leaves a bit to be desired. We were not greeted, never asked how our food was or offered any refills. Needs improvement on friendliness!
I would maybe have given a 4 but the service was not friendly not rude either. Just indifferent. None of the people working seemed to want to be there. Table needed to be cleaned and we were never asked what we wanted with our coffee. So we word or own table and stole another tables coffee condiments. Our food was very very simple but very good. Bread in my French toast was very different and tasty. My husband had eggs in a hole and also very very good bread used. I would try again to see if service improved. The building is... read more
