About this business
Greg restored the two bedroom upstairs apartment back to the original 1890 style and used the main floor as a work area. In 2006 Greg and Edie started working full time on restoring the main floor and building the restaurant. All the wood trim is either original or replicated out of mostly reclaimed materials to match the original trim that had been saved. Server never introduced herself. Roast beef sandwich as a salad was shredded beef roast, and salad had nothing but lettuce in it. No onion, carrot, just lettuce meat and cheese. Server never checked on us and I had to request more salad dressing by the cash register since server didn’t come back and amount given was a tablespoon. My mom went here and received absolutely horrible customer service. First off she ordered a sub as a salad which is available on their menu and it was literally just lettuce and roast beef. When they went to pay it was almost $10. She was told they only accept cash and to either walk two blocks, past the bank to the drive-thru ATM or to just give them an IOU??? Had breakfast there this morning. Apparently scrambled are the only kinds of eggs you can get. It’s the only kind listed on the menu and although I asked for over easy eggs and the waitress said ok they came out scrambled. The fruit seem to be canned small orange slices and we had ask for our silverware to eat breakfast. Average tasting food at the best.

Girlfriend and I decided to try it for lunch, their menu is pretty simple, hot sandwiches, cold sandwiches. You can have a salad the same way as a sandwich but no bread .
