The best green fried tomatoes. Love the shrimp and grits.
Wow! This used to be my favorite place for Sunday breakfast but service has deteriorated with each visit. This morning I realized that single diners are not welcomed here. I watched couple after couple come in and give their names after me and ALL were seated while I waited for my table. I finally left with hurt feelings and a growling stomach. Took my money and my appetite to another restaurant where I was welcomed, seated and served without further ado!
I've always loved the food at this place and went there this morning to have breakfast with my family for my birthday. We were told the wait would be ten minutes. After 35 minutes and watching two six tops and a two top that arrived after us be seated I went up to the host to make sure we were still on the list. It happened to be the manager and he became very defensive saying that it didn't matter where you're at on the list it matters how many people are in your group.
