I stayed at the Homestead solo for one of their reading retreats and it was a wonderful experience. Mary Anne and Chet were great hosts - fun conversation over thoughtful and delicious meals, and plenty of solitude when that's what I wanted. My bed was clean and comfortable, with a thoughtful array of toiletries provided. The house is gorgeous, with surprises and interesting decor around every corner. I recommend you travel to this local establishment. The home is a artistic, nostalgic, peaceful space. The owners Mary Kay & Chet offer a welcome similar to coming home from a long journey. The Yoga retreat was delightful. Amy the yoga instructor is so graceful, genuine, and encouraging. The Homestead is a beautiful location for weddings, retreats, or a summer evening cork & caps pop over and just unwind. I can’t wait to meet up with my new yoga friends this summer. El sitio es increíble, con muy buen gusto. Alquilamos toda la casa par un grupo de arquitectos que fuimos a visitar la Farnswroth House. Fue un gran acierto. Mary y su marido, nos dieron el mejor trato. El grupo quedó encantado. En el tour de Frank Lloyd Wright 2019 por cinco estados de Estados Unidos, fue sin duda el mejor hospedaje que tuvimos. Mary Kay was so helpful at coordinating our wedding day all along the way. She and the staff made the actual day run so smooth - they are unbelievable. The venue is beautiful inside and out making the ceremony, reception and pictures gorgeous! Guests raved about it all night. We highly recommend The Homestead for your wedding or any event - you won't be sorry!
