I have been purchasing (a lot) from Home Depot over the past 20 years of our business. Rentaman, LLC / Pike Construction. Probably spend upwards of $50,000 to $100,000 a year at Home Depot. I just had the worst customer experience ever at the Westport Road store. I purchased a Kohler Santa Rosa one piece toilet high end unit from Westport Road July 13, 2016. I will never use their services again! I have been waiting on getting a fence put in for 11 weeks. The contractors they used showed up in flip flops, and asked me if had some of the tools that they needed to complete the job. They spaced the poles incorrectly, and then cursed at my neighbor while driving through his yard leaving ruts. I have contacted Home Depot corporate multiple times, and they do not seem tobe able to get anything done. This is just part of an unbelievable experience. STAY AWAY FROM HOME DEPOT!!!
I have never in my life been so disgusted with a store. First of all, we have spent a substantial amount of money at this store remodeling our home. Second of all, while at the check out today the cashier was beyond rude and refused to give me my military discount that I have always received in the past. I was told I could not get such a discount because we were paying with my husbands card and not mine so it "wasn't allowed". I was asked to leave the store by assistant store manager Louis Bailey. I was speaking with a long time friend who works there when Bailey walked up with a smirk and said," I have been fair enough, I allowed you to talk to this associate too long, please let her attend customers. You have made your purchase, now leave." He should coach the associate, not the customers. I have called corporate this morning.
Kudos to Aaron in your flooring and the girls in customer service! I returned defective flooring and they went above and beyond to correct the problem. I walked out with a better product than I returned! Thanks so much!!
Worst floor install ever. Mistakes in every room. Took off work one day for them to not even show up. Manager of all the install guys came by to see all of the problems in every room and all he could say was - "I understand". Doesn't feel the need to correct any of the problems, discount the job, apologize, etc... Do not have this home depot install your flooring. You'll be sorry too!!!!!
