We ordered a washer and drier and were told it would be delivered in 6 weeks (a bit long I thought). Three days before the installation date, we were notified it will be ANOTHER 6 weeks. I wish that I had asked my friends their opinions because after posting my story on social media I heard so many similar stories. We went to Best Buy and had installation in 6 days. 7/16/20.We purchased a new dryer from Home Depot, Traverse City, MI today. The salesman NEVER left his stool to help us. We had to keep walking back to him with info (model number, ect) so he could look it upon the computer. He didn't make any effort to get up, walk to the section of washers/dryers to assist us or even look us in the eye(s). We knew what we wanted, so we placed the order. It got worse. UPDATE: I received a refund of my delivery fee and the items were delivered the next morning. Disappointed with online ordering from Home Depot. I paid $79 to have my items delivered and was quoted for the next day delivery. After my items didn’t arrive, I checked my order status and they changed the delivery to the following date. When I called HD, I was on hold for over 45 minutes, just to have the associate tell me she couldn’t pull up my info and transfer me to the local (CLOSED) store! The kitchen design experience with Scott was awesome. He is very knowledgeable and kind.
They do an amazing job with their kids workshops! We really look forward to them and the projects we’ve made so far have been so fun and so sweet. Gets rather busy at times but still all flows well.
