I wouldn’t buy a riding mower that clearly states reconditioned and no warranty and my grandpa would be the one purchasing a ww2 veteran and they can’t stand behind their products isn’t illegal to sell mowers without a warranty and my grandpa is on a fixed income on your website you offer free delivery here it’s 79 dollars that’s wrong
Purchased a $2,000 mower got it delivered and they forgot the keys. Had to drive an hour out of our way to go pick up keys and an hour back home during the busiest time of year for us. The only reimbursement they offered us was a lousy 2nd key that probably cost them a dollar to cut which in no way is equivalent to the amount of time that was wasted going to pick up the key and was honestly an insult. This store always nails it on customer service. Was just in there looking for an item that was not out on display because it’s seasonal. The two people I talked with found it in their inventory and got the pallet down with a fork truck so I could get what I needed. I expected a little grumbling or eye rolling when I asked them to get it down but they were super helpful and just apologized that there were none on display.
Drove from Effingham Illinois today to purchase a water heater. Chuey in the plumbing department was very helpful. He went above an beyond to help us. Explained everything we would need and helped us get the parts an water heater we needed. I will not shop anywhere else from now on for my home repair needs. An all of the other employees I encountered while there was very polite an friendly an willing to help too. Great store great employees I recommend this store to anyone.Excellent customer service

I've shopped a lot of places throughout the country, not just illinois, and I can honestly say the staff there is super nice and ALWAYS helpful. Unlike other stores where most of the staff never have a clue what you're talking about, Home Depot in matton, il is always on top of their game. I've been there more times than I care to admit and haven't had a bad experience yet.
