RecommendedI needed a piece of lumber cut for a shelf that I was replacing. The gentleman helped me pick the right piece of wood and cut it to the right size that I needed.
Terrible customer service. Went into the store to get some help with placing an order. After an hour of fumbling where the order was lost, the associate told me to “get the app.” I did. Ordered on the app. Promised delivery date. Contractor scheduled. Today is delivery date and the order hasn’t even been processed yet. Going elsewhere next time. Sad because I’ll have to drive 30 miles to Lowes but done with this local HD.
I wish I would’ve checked the reviews on the store before trying to order flooring from Home Depot. Horrible experience trying to cancel a flooring order. Home Depot made us pay a $236 restocking fee for some thing we canceled. The gentleman John in the flooring department even opened more credit on my fiancé‘s credit card without his signature or approval. Do yourself a favor and don’t deal with Home Depot especially this store!
Lift the mask requirements. People will go to Lowe’s instead including me if it is kept in plaxe
Went to Home Depot for flooring, paid $35 for quote. To get quote you need to contact the "quote dept". I requested the quote to just be emailed to me. Rep continued to go over quote, again requested to be emailed. She said she would process, put on hold, after 5 minutes I hung up. Great Customer Service! Oh by the way, orig quote 195 SF $<$800, correct measurements 240SF, but now quote $>1,550. Been 1/2 hour and still have not received quote.
I have just filed my 2nd BBB complaint regarding our nearly 30k installation of sliding glass doors. Our condo had 5 sliding glass doors installed over two years ago with nothing but problems. The Home Depot installer Master Builders ( Daniel Betts) did a horrible job with the installation. They did come back but the doors continued to leak. I had wanted to purchase a fireplace tv stand that was on sale. Unfortunately there was only the display left, (which i still really wanted) but when I had gotten there to pick it up I was informed that it had become broken while trying to get it ready for me. I visited this Home Depot on New Years Day. I asked An employee where a mounting bracket was for a towel holder as the one I showed him was sorely bent with a drywall anchor stuck in it. Jeff helped me find a replacement and when he realized they did not sell them separately proceeded to fix the one I had. Thank you Jeff for the personal service.
