We ordered the bulk of our remodeling materials from this location over the past 2 months.We had major issues with each of our special orders.Customer service and communication is nonexistent and not once did a store employee apologize for all the mishaps and inconveniences. We are now dealing with corporate and the district manager on a daily basis until the situation is remedied.This store could learn a thing or two from the Denham Springs manager (Katie). I have a gripe that I need to share! We paid for some doors at HOME DEPOT. We went back to pick them up and they told me that they gave them to somebody else and they didn't have any to give me! That has happened on 2 other times on something we paid for and had to get a truck to pick it up and they did not have what we paid for. I suggest that if you have flooded! Don't use HOME DEPOT! They don't care about the customer just the cash!
I am very dissatisfied with Home Depot. I bought some tile floors from them and since day 1 they have been giving me the run around. I stayed home on Friday the 23rd. because I was expecting a delivery from the store on Coursey Blvd. well to make the story short they never showed up or called me to let me know it was not coming. ...a shitload of sheet rock...Home Depot sure took care of the flood victims. There were hundreds of them in the Coursey store today.
I purchased a patio set, and two of the chairs were broken. They were going to order replacement chairs for me. That was ten days ago. I went back to the store today (my third trip regarding this order) to check on the status of the replacement chairs. No one in customer service could help me. They could not find the store manager. The Home & Garden manager was "too busy" to help. After thirty minutes, I left the store. I still have two broken chairs. Home Depot Coursey Blvd., Baton Rouge, La provides excellent customer service but DO NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR INSTALLERS! !!!! Horrible experience with flooring installation company USIG. I strongly DO NOT RECOMMEND using their installers..... possible ligation maybe needed to get this 3 month nightmare resolved!
