Bought a water heater and made the mistake of letting Home Depot install it (actually Delta Mech installed it)terrible mistake: first the guy put it over the only floor drain in the basement. Called Home Depot, Guy came out and put 3 bricks under it. Had to leave work early for this. Than take a day off work to get it inspected, the thing failed the inspection. My hot water heater went out on the 4th of July I had my warranty papers and my heater was 11 years old with a 12 year warranty. Since I didn't have a receipt but had filled out the warranty card they gave me $559 store credit since they no longer carry the same brand and that is what a compatible model cost now. That is what I call great customer service.
