I have enjoyed getting a veterans discount at Home Depot, when I remember to ask for it. Yesterday, I did ask, showed my VA card when asked for it, and was denied. The new policy, is Active Duty, Retired from military, or Service Connected Disability. I went to Lowes, no problem.

So went here after no service at Lowes in Georgetown. Unfortunately no better, hardly any employees working, waited to get a key made and get a question answered for over 10 minutes, finally gave up and paid for what I had. Only self pay registers are open which is fine but the clerk watching over this area was so busy talking to another employee that we were not addressed until we were almost out the door.
Wasted 1 hour there this weekend trying to buy a grill they loaded the wrong grill in my truck had to bring it back the next day after waiting 15 minutes for a exchange had to take a store credit just to get out of there. Have to go back again in 4 days to convert store credit to my money back because I wrote a check. More time wasted. Very poor service go to Lowes.
